A reinterpretation of the original, this time traveling back to a garden at the onset of rain/a storm.
Nose behind the fragrance: Francis Kurkdijan
Fragrance family: Oriental Floral
My take: The top notes starts off with a soft sweet jasmine blend, but the candied dry down gives it a heavy sweet musky scent with a patchouli base. Think of the fragrances Mr. Kurkdijian is known for, this scent encapsulates it.
My suggestions: This fragrance has high sillage to it. It’s a very sexy sensual smell. Perfect for setting a seductive mood on a warm summer night. The mixture of heavy sweet peach and amber notes invokes a sense of dark lust.
Bonus tip: instead of shelling out $$$ for the Baccarat 540, give this one a whirl for a few hundred less and by the same composer.
