Inspired by the classic trench coat that Burberry is known for, this scent encapsulates the fragrance of a garden after rain.
Nose behind the fragrance: Francis Kurkdijan
Fragrance family: Floral
My take: The sweet pea top notes gives it a waterfall in the rain forest type vibe, yet the dry down gives you a slight citrus note mixed with warm wet earth. Sounds weird but picture the smell of an old leather bound book filled with pressed freesia flowers with a hint of sweetness to it.
My suggestions: This fragrance has moderate sillage to it ( the scent leaves a trail behind you ) so it’s perfect for a signature scent of classic elegance without overwhelming the wearer.
