Hi I’m Shanelle, NOT Chanel 5. I’m a Caribbean gyal, based in Virgina,USA.
My mom was inspired by the Chanel No. 5 fragrance while naming me, though funny enough it’s my least favorite fragrance of the line up.
Growing up I’ve been known to over-splurge on fragrances and also that one friend who always smells great in my friend group.
Do I feel guilty about it? Heck no, I’ll willing spend my last dime to smell amazing, as I truly believe that if one looks like a bum, but smells great, it leaves a much longer lasting impression. If this sounds like you, well you’ve found your tribe darling.
I have over 12 years of retail experience,10 in management & 5 in luxury. Which makes perfect sense as I love shopping and pampering myself with luxury fragrances.
This love for fragrance lead me to my current job as a store manager for a luxury fragrance store, that’s been in the niche fragrance business for over 32 years.
It’s not my only love though.
My mother has amazing skin for as long as I could recognize the rarity that it is. She’s instilled the importance of taking great care of it, and so I’ll be feeding your thirst for all things skincare as I learn it. That includes all the tips and tricks I’ve learnt from my mother over the years ( she irritatingly still looks like my older sister and not my mom). So thanks to her, it’s motivated me to share my love of both to the world, and impart some inspiration to put yourself first.
I truly believe that having beautiful skin and smelling amazing go hand in hand.
Nothing gets better than throwing on your favorite outfit, slinging on some moisturizer and taking a spritz of your favorite scent to get you in the right mood.
