Luxury Brands You Should Know: Penhaligons

“Out of this world, unique olfactories. I can’t stop raving about this brand.”- Shanelle Not Chanel 5

Founder: William Penhaligon

Length in perfumery: 152 years

Royal Warrants: 3

My take: I have not smelt one Penhaligon’s composition I did not like. I even wear the mens fragrances as well. That’s just how great they are. So what makes them different from most perfumeries ? I chalk it up to their notoriety in understanding how to balance complex notes together, or it could be the relatability of its founder and his simplistic upbringing and his rise to fame. The British Royal family also understands the worth in this brand, and continues to recognize them for their work. So are their fragrances worth it ? Absolutely. If it’s good enough for royalty, why isn’t it good enough for us? Get to spending friends!

My suggestions: Purchase their fragrance library box, and get a feel for what type of fragrance family/ olfactory type you prefer. Their compositions are uniquely their own, with stand out fragrances like : The Coverted Duchess Rose,Much Ado About The Duke, Bluebell, Artemisia and Halfeti.

Bonus: With over 95 perfumes in rotation, as well as complimentary bath and body products from the brand, layering your scent enhances its longevity throughout the day. You literally get a bang for your buck. Due to high sillage and high oil concentration, your bottles will last you much longer than your traditional designer fragrances.
